Fort Campbell High School sophomore grappler Ethan Tomerlin won his 100th match in his Falcons varsity career this weekend at the Johnny Drennan ‘85 Memorial Invitational Tournament Jan. 5-6 at Father Ryan High School in Nashville. He reached the milestone by pinning Ben Scalera of Beech High School, Hendersonville, Tennessee. “We are very proud of Ethan for this accomplishment and happy he was able to get the win with his dad in attendance,” said Falcons Wrestling Head Coach Anthony Shingler. Tomerlin is the ninth wrestler to hit the 100-win mark since Shingler started coaching in 2009 at Fort Campbell. “Over my 100 wins I have faced a lot of tough opponents, but the toughest one was always myself,” Tomerlin said.
