A Fort Campbell Soldier died Friday in a non-combat related incident at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

Sergeant Justin Richard Rogers, 25, of Barton, N.Y., was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 101st Airborne Division, as a horizontal construction engineer. He joined the Army in March 2008.

Rogers’ awards include two Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Army Service Ribbon.

Rogers is survived by his spouse, Stefanie R. Rogers, Fort Campbell, and his daughter Nateli R. Rogers, Fort Campbell, his parents, Stan J. Vicki and Teresa A. Vicki, both of Barton, N.Y.
